Tips and Hints
Here is a great tip that is
submitted by Joy Parker of
Swallowhill Miniatures. This
sometimes works, and is well worth
the try..... Make a 'pencil' shape
of your regular slip. A pencil about
3" long and the diameter of a
regular pencil, works best for me.
Fire it to Cone 018. Use this to rub
over holes and cracks in fired
porcelain, then fire the piece again
to your regular Cone 6. Very often a
piece can be salvaged this way.
